Donald Trump waves the white flag
At a time when Donald Trump’s poll numbers and the U.S. economy are racing each other off a cliff, Trump is more focused than ever on convincing himself that everything is going to magically be just fine for him. He’s lying to himself about all of the above, while insisting that his recent empty-seat-laden rally was somehow packed to the rafters. He’s clinging to his delusions more tightly than ever. But now Trump is waving the white flag on at least one front.
Donald Trump – or one of his social media handlers – just officially gave up on the whole “America buying Greenland” fantasy. Trump’s official Twitter account posted a bizarre photoshopped image of what appears to be the Las Vegas Trump hotel transplanted into a small village in Greenland. Trump’s tweet says “I promise not to do this to Greenland!” No really, we’re not kidding. Look at this nonsense:
Although the tweet was idiotic in nature, it’s actually one way to try to move on from an embarrassing nonsensical scandal like this. We’re interpreting this as Donald Trump (or his handlers) waving the white flag on the Greenland nonsense and acknowledging that it was an idiotic idea all along. Now if only Trump would admit that him being president was an idiotic idea all along – and resign accordingly.
