Donald Trump whines and cries like a baby as his disastrous handling of coronavirus spirals out of control
The coronavirus isn’t Donald Trump’s fault. But it is his fault that he slashed the CDC budget, leaving the United States unprepared for a potential outbreak here. It’s also Trump’s fault that he’s got stunningly inept political advisers running point on the virus, who can’t get their story straight. The stock market has plummeted by eight percent over the past two days alone, sending Trump into a panic.
This evening, Trump posted this bizarre and whiny tweet: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus, including the very early closing of our borders to certain areas of the world. It was opposed by the Dems, “too soon”, but turned out to be the correct decision. No matter how well we do, however, the Democrats talking point is that we are doing badly. If the virus disappeared tomorrow, they would say we did a really poor, and even incompetent, job. Not fair, but it is what it is. So far, by the way, we have not had one death. Let’s keep it that way!”
Oh come on, really? Numerous people worldwide have died from coronavirus in horrific fashion. The world economy is teetering on the brink. Americans are worried about a potential major outbreak in the United States. And all their “president” can do is whine about how it’s not fair to him? What a putz.
