“Where’s Melania?”
Donald Trump was reportedly once again asleep during part of his criminal trial today, even as his defense attorneys continued to “aggressively” get nowhere with their cross examination of Michael Cohen.
During a break, Trump was awake long enough to venture out and walk past reporters. But when they began asking him questions, he merely pumped his fist and walked away. One of the questions shouted at him that he ignored: “Where’s Melania?”
We’ve seen Melania Trump occasionally appear next to Donald Trump during campaign events. But she’s nowhere near this trial. Nor is the majority of Trump’s family. Even if they hate him, it’s just weird. You’d think they’d be willing to show their faces just once for the sake of appearances, but they can’t even do that.
It all seemingly points to just how little interest Donald Trump’s family seems to have in trying to prop him up. It feels like even they realize there’s no helping him at this point.
