I am deeply satisfied that Donald Trump has at long last been indicted for the one crime that counts the most, his part in the January 6 insurrection. That particular indictment was the most essential. Anything less would encourage a second coup attempt.

But there can be no doubt that Republicans will use this indictment as a renewed justification to continue to exact their revenge. For Republicans, every Trump indictment is nothing more than partisan hackery. Because they cannot reflect, they project. Even Republicans who know better understand that their lies are taken seriously by the chumps and losers who put their misplaced faith in them.

But the most galling part is how Republicans will use the people’s money and the people’s time to conduct counterfeit investigations. We saw it with Hillary Clinton, the endless parade of committees leading nowhere. But because the popular memory is short, all most people remember is a one word condemnation: Benghazi! Few recall that she was completely exonerated.

And so it is and will continue to be with Joe Biden. Republicans cannot handle the fact that Biden is an effective President and a decent human being. Particularly in contrast with Trump. So they invent scandals, call phoney witnesses and empanel stupid committees looking into nonexistent Biden “crimes.” Even though they turn up nothing, all many people will recall is that the President was investigated in the first place.

The latest “witness” in the fabricated Republican investigation into the so-called “Biden crime family” is a case in point. His name is Devon Archer, and he was called as the latest “stunning” witness against Joe and Hunter Biden by Jim Jordan’s kangaroo court. Unfortunately for Republicans, Mr Archer didn’t turn out to be the headliner they were hoping for.

Archer appeared ostensibly to expose Hunter Biden for the corrupt practice of using his connection to his famous father to sell influence. There was just one problem: he saw no such thing. While it’s true that Ardher was on the board of Burisma when Hunter Biden joined in 2014, he never witnessed a single instance of wrongdoing.

This is how Republicans transact the people’s business, by desperately trying to manufacture scandals against the sitting President, simply because he is a Democrat. Meanwhile their personal god is effectively being indicted for treason. And every single American was a witness to that crime.

This is why the Republican Party must go. The people of Germany made Naziism agains the law. We should do the same for Republicanism. And, as ever, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, comrades and friends, stay safe.
