Hello Kevin McCarthy! Greetings, Lindsey Graham and James Comer and Thomas Massie and Tommy Tuberville, and many other republicans! I have a question for all of you, and it’s a big one. A penny for your thoughts — for all of your thoughts.
What did you think when you tried to censure Adam Schiff? Surely you could not have POSSIBLY thought that would work — could you? Could you all possibly be that incompetent? I want to know what was going through your head.
Kevin, why don’t you just come out against Trump? Yes, you might lose your speake-rship, but at least you’d be able to look in the mirror without squirming at the coward who gazes back at you. A penny for your thoughts, Republicans.
Because by my standards, so much of what you do makes no sense. Surely you must see that you have become a laughing stock. Can you see it? Can’t you see the disgust in the eyes of the voters? Can’t you see that you have been reduced to carrying water for Donald Trump?
James Comer. I have heard that you went on Fox non-news and called viewers who watch MSNBC “Low IQ.” Surely he doesn’t mean that. It’s said that the more educated one is, the more likely one is to vote Democratic. Surely you know why, Mr. Comer.
And what about you, JD Vance? Threatening to hold up DOJ nominees? Why did you turn your back on your own people? Surely you can see that Ohio is hurting. Surely you know that they have dropped to the bottom in educational quality. I know this. If I KNOW it, you must know it too. Why the hell are you in the Senate if not to help them?
And a penny for your thoughts, too, Gym Jordan. You must know that Jack Smith will not share any details of his investigation into Trump with you. You must know what you’re asking is illegal.
Stop sniveling Lindsey Graham! I don’t know if Trump is really blackmailing you or not. But be a man and stand up for the rule of law! People will appreciate it believe me.
Chuck Grassley, you have seniority. Do something! Your party is going up in smoke. It’s not too late to do the right thing and at least attempt to get them back on track.
A penny — a lovely, copper penny for your thoughts, republicans. But I think I shall throw this penny into a lake because I know your thoughts. You aren’t thinking of the voters. You aren’t thinking of the rule of law because it seems you have forgotten there IS One.
Were I to see your thoughts, I’m sure all I’d see is reflections — reflections of Donald Trump, of the monster you’re chained to. I would not see the faces of the voters — these beautiful people from all over this country whom you agreed to represent. How tragic that you all have forgotten.
