“A bleak prophesy or precondition of war and ruin.” This is what is called a prophecy. I want to speak about one prophecy made a long time ago. It was made after a specific person rode down an escalator. This person was a well-known carnival barker, a man without conscience who may as well have had steel bars where his soul should have been.

“Dangerous con man.”
Marco Rubio

Yes, Republicans were very worried about this manifestation of evil. They were also swift to say so.

“Donald, you’re a sniveling coward”
Ted Cruz.

At first, these Republicans were deeply concerned. They saw, in an instant, what could happen if this person was allowed to succeed in his wicked impulses.

“America’s Hitler.”
JD Vance

They vowed to stop him! Many of these Republicans joined together in their prophecy saying nothing but harm could come from letting the evil one be introduced to power.

“If we nominate Donald Trump, we will get destroyed…and we will deserve it.”
Lindsey Graham

Thus, the prophecy was born – the GOP trembled in their boots, hoping it would not come true. It did. And somewhere along the way, the GOP forgot. They merged with evil, forgetting their own doomsday warnings.

One would think the GOP would have learned. They have not. But this time is different. This time, we know that for all their talk of prophecies, for all their fake concern, republicans cannot stand against evil.

The Republican prophecy ruined them. It swept them away, a tremendous twister, effortlessly scooping them up. The storm had its beady eyes fixed on their souls, which the eye of the storm plucked from them quickly, spinning far away, ensuring that these fake prophets would never get them back.

I tell this story for a reason. The effects of the prophecy can still be felt today, and nobody feels them more than the prophets. “We have nothing.” This wail of misery rose amid the wreckage of dead GOP dreams and stolen GOP souls. This wail rose from Rep. Andy Biggs.

“We have nothing! Nothing! A desolate cry in the night against a backdrop of emptiness. “We have nothing to go out there and campaign on.” Many Republicans are saying this. The mood is tense.

“If we keep extending the pain and creating more suffering, we will pay the price at the ballot box.” That’s from Rep. Patrick McHenry. All over town (DC), the after-effects of the prophecy can be felt. A monster came down the stairs that dark day.

As mentioned at the start of this article — these prophecies warned of war, bleakness and absolute ruin. Republicans issued a prophecy alright. But they didn’t know what the unforeseen consequences would be.

They couldn’t begin to understand that America was and is too big to fail. They didn’t get that the prophecy turned its attention on THEM. The prophecy came true- not for America, you understand but for the fake prophets themselves, bringing them war, bleakness, and absolute ruin.
