Unhinged Donald Trump begins threatening Nikki Haley supporters

Donald Trump has two problems when it comes to Nikki Haley. One is that he thinks she’s Nancy Pelosi. The other is that she came within about ten points of beating him in the New Hampshire primary.

Now Trump is lashing out at Nikki Haley’s supporters, and even threatening them. Trump is insisting on social media that going forward, anyone who makes a “contribution” to Haley’s campaign “will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.”

Well okay then. What does “barred from the MAGA camp” even mean? Will Nikki Haley supporters no longer be able to come and hang out at his stupid parties? Is he banning them from Mar-a-Lago? Is he saying they won’t be able to get White House jobs in the delusional scenario where Trump wins the election? Or is there an actual “MAGA camp” somewhere out in the woods that we don’t know about?

In any case, while Trump is trying to play hardball here, all he’s really doing is revealing his desperation. He’s so worried about Nikki Haley gaining momentum against him, he’s willing to risk alienating her supporters and backers by threatening them. That’s a good way to lose their support in the general election. Of course Trump is going to prison anyway, so what’s the difference?
