I have been waiting to write this article. I’ve been waiting until a certain person finished their non-work and got the hell out of our lives. That person is John Durham. Ever since Bill Barr appointed this so-called “special prosecutor” to investigate the investigators, Durham’s — well — been doing SOMETHING. I’m not sure I’d classify it as work.
I’d prefer to call it Bullshit (with a capital B.) Durham is yet another victim of the Trump disease. He’s been in the background of our nightmares for years, poking around where he doesn’t belong and trying to justify his self-importance by refusing to admit: game over. I (Durham) don’t have anything.
And now his final report is out. And it is nothing we did not expect. The 305-page report — I repeat — 305 pages — is mostly junk. In it, Durham, the king of bullshit, the connoisseur of do-nothing investigations, rails against the FBI, as he insists they got it wrong.
I’d say it’s Durham who got it wrong. He only ever indicted a few people. Both of the people who went to trial were exonerated and found not guilty. Great work there, John. Durham claims the FBI “under-performed”, did not follow their own principles, and caused the FBI severe “reputational harm.”
I say the only ones causing the FBI reputational harm were Durham’s pals, who refuse even now to stop the accusations of the FBI of being woke, incompetent, and only for democrats. Durham is a poser. Do you know what a poser is? It’s someone who pretends to be something they’re not.
Durham posed and is posing. He pretends to care about the rule of law. I do not believe he does. I think he cares about his beliefs and then uses confirmation bias to see those beliefs.
Durham also looks like someone you’d see on America’s most wanted sign. He looks explosive, angry, and definitely not like someone I’d trust on any given day. So now he’s written a report undoubtedly to make himself look more important than he is. The truth is he’s not important.
He’s Bull Durham — he’s untrustworthy, annoying, and someone nobody will remember, even in just a few years. Good riddance Durham, and goodbye. Hopefully, the American people will never have to hear from you again.
