This is just ugly for Trump stooge Jenna Ellis

Donald Trump’s former election attorney Jenna Ellis has been criminally indicted and arrested and is awaiting trial, all while she publicly complains that Trump is failing to help her with her legal bills. Could it get any worse for her? Well, yes, considering she’s on track for prison. In the meantime she’s finding ways to add insult to her own injury.

After House Republicans forced out their own Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, Jenna Ellis posted a Twitter poll asking who should be the next Speaker. She was surely expecting Trumpers and right wingers to rally behind one of the Republican options she listed. Instead she didn’t get any support from her own side, and Democrats got ahold of her poll and all voted for Hakeem Jeffries – ensuring that he got 77% of the vote.

Of course Twitter polls are worth nothing and have no impact on the real world. But the point is that Jenna Ellis is losing so badly on all real world fronts, she’s reduced to trying to turn her fortunes around by posting online polls aimed at pandering to a Trump base that’s clearly abandoned her, and even the online poll ended up going horribly wrong for her. Trump and his people only know how to lose.
