This is just embarrassing for Kevin McCarthy

“They look like America.” These words come from former House Speaker and soon-to-be out of sight, out of mind, Kevin McCarthy. He was referring to Democrats looking like America. Kevin McCarthy is praising Democrats.

Yahoo News put it best. “Hell has frozen over, and pigs are flying.” And the video of Kev doing just that is making the rounds. It has gone viral. Why? Could Kevin still harbor feelings of revenge in his heart? Or could he simply be telling — gasp — the truth?

This all has to do with diversity. In this video, Kevin is praising how diverse the Democratic party is. The video comes from a debate that Kevin participated in on October 28 at Oxford University.

Here is Kevin gushing about the Democratic Party: “When you look at the Democrats, they actually look like America.; When I look at my party, we look like the most restrictive country club in America.”

Wow. Hell HAS frozen over! McCarthy told it like it is! Perhaps after all, the curse of Dorian Gray is over. And Republicans ARE the most restrictive country club in America. What a lovely turn of phrase, dear Kevin.

Are you planning to change parties? I would not go THAT far. But I imagine Republicans must be seeing red now, particularly a certain high-haired man from Florida who came this close to being indicted by the FBI.

We do see this a lot. When a particular politician resigns (or is fired) all of a sudden, the cat releases their tongues, and they say shocking things, some of which are actually truthful statements.

It seems that Kevin feels free to just be himself since his resignation. Who knows. Perhaps in a short time, KEV will be promoting Democratic candidates. I would not go THAT far but there is no doubt that ole Kev is causing his party a wee bit of angst right now, and that’s just fine by me.
