This is just embarrassing for Fox News

The purity of the hearts of activists never fails to move me. The corruption of Fox non-news never fails to make me sick. Comparing the beauty of activism to the evil of Fox is like the comparison of a warm summer breeze during the summer solstice to a dirty and debris-filled mudslide.

And others are noticing as well. One group who most definitely noticed is the largest LGBTQ advocacy group in America — Human Rights Campaign.

And it gives me great pleasure to say that they have noticed and done something about it. This advocacy group has yanked away the status of LGBTQ-friendly employer from Fox. GOOD for them!

Fox has been relentless in pick, pick, picking on the LGBTQ world. People like Tucker and Laura Ingraham have been mocking in tone and have seemingly joined Ron Do-Nothing DeSantis in his quest to make Disney’s life a living hell.

So now Fox has been “penalized in it’s Corporate Equality index.” LGBTQ friendly, they’re not. The group issued a scathing statement along with its decision to yank the title of LGBTQ friendly from the non-network.

“Fox News has a history of sharing misinformation and disinformation about the LGBTQ community.”

“Ar a time when transgender people — especially transgender children — are under attack in statehouses across the country, rhetoric has real consequences.”

“We can no longer allow Fox Corporation to maintain its score if Fox News personalities and contributors continue to deny the existence of transgender people, minimize the violence transgender individuals face, refer to parents of LGBTQ+ youth as perverts, or quate leaders of LGBRQ+ diversity and inclusion efforts with sex offenders.”

“Each of these actions happened in the last 72 hours. Enough is enough.”

I want to give this statement a standing ovation.

Enough is enough indeed. More and more people are acknowledging the dark stain that is Fox Non-News. I hope it was worth it, Fox. Thank you to these beautiful activists.
