Eric Swalwell is a great Congressman who has a great sense of humor. He might even be the wittiest member of Congress. Only something recently happened, which was no laughing matter. When they’re not screaming “Antifa” and “Brandon,” some of the more unhinged members of Maga are ranting and raving. That is, after all that, they do best.

Only one person took it too far. This person decided it might be fun to threaten to kill Rep Swalwell. Swalwell posted the threat on Twitter and sought help from Tweets in identifying the man. They tried but failed to identify him.

Still, he was found. Here is Swalwell’s tweet: “A man DM’ED I should be shot. For my family’s safety, I asked Twitter for help ID’ING HIM. When Twitter fell short _thanks for trying) I asked the guy his name and why he threatened me. Meet Jeremy Marshall, who told me he was radicalized by Tucker Carlson.”

This man, Marshall, referred to Swalwell as a “traitor.” He also said “hopefully” Swalwell would “get hung.”

Swalwell engaged the man — and in a very good-natured way causing this man to say: “Ur a lot more personable than you come across.”

The two then proceeded to have a fascinating conversation. You see, Marshall thought Swalwell was a spy. Swalwell earnestly spoke to and seemingly calmed the man down. And he even apologized to Swalwell. “Am I reading the wrong articles?” the man asked.

Marshall also explained he has been quite the Tucker fan, and Tucker didn’t like Swalwell. However Marshall agreed Tucker went to far.

This story is fascinating in and of itself. It shows us the bravery of Swalwell. To directly engage with his threatener was courageous, and also, the WAY he did it was flawless.

Swalwell said that lies from Tucker and his band of misfits (my words) are “radicalizing people,” and I agree. Fox and Tucker and all of these folks — Cawthorn and Greene — all of them — must be called what they are. The folks who threaten educators and parents — must be called what they are.

And our simpering politicians who go along with this must be called what they are. They are not merely “bad people” or “misinformed.” They are American terrorists. Rep. Swalwell, we’re so glad you’re alright. And we wish all our politicians were as brave as you.
