here is apparently a bit of a war going on in the twisted world of Donald Trump. The war is between Trump’s advisors. Reportedly, many of Trump’s advisors are unhappy with some of Trump’s endorsements in the 2022 midterms. An excellent example of this is Trump’s endorsement of Dr. Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race. Many on Trump’s team are not happy with this endorsement.

Trump has also endorsed Ted Budd in North Carolina, which was met with some disapproval. Other concerning endorsements include JD Vance of Ohio and Herschel Walker in Georgia. He’s “damaging his political comeback.” Those are the words several advisors are whispering.

Now these whispers are just wrong because Trump has no future in politics, and we all know it. Still, many of his advisors are seemingly baffled by his endorsements of people they do not deem to be competitive in the upcoming races. Reportedly one aide asked Trump the simple question of why. Trump replied that he was a “gambler.”

Apparently, many in Maga-world are not happy with some of his endorsements either. I witnessed that myself. Many a Maga are complaining about Trump’s endorsements, particularly Oz in Pennsylvania. Shockingly some in Maga world are even saying that they need a new standard-bearer for 2024.

“I’ll always love Trump, but he comes with a lot of drama. We need someone new,” said one Maga on a Republican message board.

This all may sound like good news to you, and indeed in many ways, it is. But let’s not forget the dangers ahead.

The last thing we want is a smarter version of Trump. I have no idea who the next GOP leader will be, but they may well be smarter than Trump since, let’s face it — almost anybody is. So take all this with a grain of salt. Still, it is fascinating to watch the few and final embers of the Trump cult slowly being put out.
