The Supreme Court has gone rogue, and they do not appear to be stopping their insane sprint anytime soon. And though we have six outlaw Justices, the worst of the worst is Justice Clarence Thomas.

Thomas is getting worse and worse with each passing week. He sounds, every day, more and more like a member of QAnon, not a Justice. And, of course, many people want to see him impeached. His wife appears to be up to her neck in January 6, and Thomas evidently approves.

Of course, we do not have the votes to impeach right now. But we are seeing a lot of votes in another way. A petition is making the rounds. This petition was created by Moveon, and it calls for the impeachment of Thomas. As of the time of this writing, it had garnered more than 800,000 signatures. The signing shows no sign of slowing down.

In the petition, several things are mentioned. One of them is the overturning of Roe: “Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas — who sided with the majority on overturning Roe — made it clear what’s next: to overturn high court rulings that establish gay rights and contraception rights.”

The fact that Thomas has not recused himself from issues regarding the January 6 insurrection and the 2020 Presidential election were also mentioned. As of the time of this writing, Thomas, who had been asked about the petition, has not formally responded.

The fact is anything we can do to garner support against Thomas would be a good thing. He has shown himself to be a betrayer with a soul colder than icicles. Anything we can do to push back against him is welcomed. You can find the petition here.
