The single best way for Joe Biden to hit the ground running

Now is the time for Joe Biden and the Democratic Party, and anyone else who is ready to dispose of Donald Trump, to begin building an exo-government structure to slide into place fully formed on Inauguration Day. It is clear that no help is coming from the current administration.

I hope Biden is busy right now, today, securing his cabinet nominees and creating that Day One To Do List. A Trump Extraction Plan needs to be readied should he refuse to accept his loss. Instead of a big party, we should have the transition team hard at work. We can celebrate later. We are teetering on the brink of collapse of our economy, healthcare system, infrastructure and basically all of our governmental departments including courts and intelligence and the entirely hollowed out executive branch.

The senate is failing to function at all. Mother Nature’s hot breath is on our necks as the globe heats up. We are in the grip of a worldwide pandemic as hordes of people deny reality. We have no organized emergency response system in place as a country in tatters faces hurricane season.

Children are still wasting away in cages down on the border. Mass shootings are commonplace. Public lands are being exploited. The US Treasury is being looted. All of our allies have backed away. We need a new and preformed federal government poised to spring into action literally on Day One.
