The GOP is imploding
Democrats can do many things at once, like defending the rule of law while passing meaningful legislation for everyone. Republicans only do one thing anymore. They work overtime to destroy our democracy by dismantling our institutions and denying our Constitutional rights. Democrats work together like a team. Republicans are disheveled shouty buffoons who accept foreign money, use guerilla warfare, and infiltrate all levels of society to sow chaos and mislead their voters. Democrats have won every major election since November 8, 2016, in unprecedented fashion. The Republican party is imploding.
In the judiciary, although the New York appellate court ruled in the civil fraud case to reduce Trump’s bond and give him 10 extra days to pay, NYAG Leticia James was all smiles. The judgment remains $464K and even if Trump comes up with the $175 million bond to get 30 days to appeal without James seizing his assets, experts believe the judgment will not be overturned and New York would be guaranteed a $175 million pay-out with little effort. Also, Judge Merchan set Trump’s New York criminal election fraud trial date. Jury selection begins April 15th, which could put him in prison before the November 5th election.
As for the Legislative branch, in the Senate, Andy Kim, the hero whose photo cleaning up the Capitol Building after the insurrection went viral, may have just locked the senate seat to replace disgraced New Jersey Senator Menendez. Other crucial Senate races include Jacky Rosen in Nevada, Delaware senators Chris Coons and Sarah McBride, Senator Sherrod Brown in Ohio, and Maryland where Jamie Raskin just endorsed Angela Alsobrooks against fake “moderate” Republican Larry Hogan. North Carolina also presents crucial opportunities, especially with the person the GOP has nominated to run for governor.
In the House, Speaker Johnson is barely hanging on to the majority by a single seat and Democrats are poised to take over. Here are the nine crucial House races according to Palmer Report. Over the coming weeks and months, we will present ways to increase Democratic registration, get out the Democratic vote, and fight GOP voter suppression and gerrymandering.
With no platform or cash to help them win fair and square, the Trump RNC has set aside millions to challenge the 2024 election. So, let’s stop whining, keep on fighting and winning. Let’s support our heroic judiciary and lawmakers, and clean up our democracy through contributions, grassroots work, and a BLUE TSUNAMI.
