Today’s question: How stupid IS Kevin McCarthy? Answer: very, very stupid. The house on the hill, packed full of Republican insanity is in the process of falling. And the Democrats will be there in 2024 to pick up the pieces.

The fall of the house of Kevin was a long time coming, but it’s really hitting its crescendo this week. “Let’s not hit a tree.” That is Kevin McCarthy, begging — actually begging Republicans not to shut the government down!

Kevin McCarthy has fallen into a dark pit and the pendulum is swinging away from him. You can tell this because of his pathetic pleading. Who is really in charge of the House of Representatives? It’s certainly not Kevin, and I think by now most people know it.

No, I do not believe we will have a shut-down, but this article is not about that. It is about the telltale heart of Kevin McCarthy. In his quest to make his dream come true, and become speaker he has massively screwed up his whole career.

Kev has nowhere to go politically after this. He is destined to be a has-been, and that is happening right now. He is as much use to the House as a tiny gold bug. Reportedly people want McCarthy to man up and show some fire! Alas, that’s not happening anytime soon.

Meanwhile, a purloined letter has been found! Or rather — a motion from one Matt Gaetz to oust Kevin was left mysteriously in the bathroom. Classified documents in Trump’s john, now this. Why oh why do all roads lead to the bathroom with Republicans?

Perhaps a nice cask of amontillado would help the whimpering Kevin. Alas, there’s going to be no gifts for Kevin, I don’t think. Has he any idea how his House is crumbling? Does he have any idea how silly he looks?
