The air is leaking out of Donald Trump’s 2024 pipe dream
If your daughter proudly brought home a new boyfriend and told you that he was under indictment in four different jurisdictions, what would you say? Would you say: “That’s great honey! Sounds like a real keeper. Invite him to dinner sometime soon.” Of course not.
If you had a friend who regularly referred to people as thugs, scum and enemies of the people and this friend asked you to break some kind of law what would you do? Would you say: “Anything you want! That’s what friends do for each other!” Of course not.
This is of course, all related to Donald Trump. See the American people aren’t as stupid as he thinks they are. That might be why Trump’s poll numbers are starting to plummet. Down, down, down, they go. Where they stop nobody knows — at zero hopefully.
A new Emerson Poll is out, and it does show bad news for the orange cretin. Apparently the debate of which Trump refused to participate, turned off some people. His numbers are tanking. His support is down by 6%.
This is not a particular surprise. It was always going to happen. I must admit I chuckled with amusement many times when various pundits solemnly predicted Trump the winner.
The bottom line is Trump was really never the front runner. The media invented him as front runner just like they invented Ron DeSantis and right now they’re trying to do the same with Vivak Ramaswamy.
As you know, nobody can predict who is going to win anything this long before an election. It was all a scare tactic, but now the real numbers is starting to come in. The bottom line is there may be many people who are asking themselves the questions or similar ones that I posted in the beginning of the article.
Do they really want a president who is indicted multiple times? Do they want someone to run the Government from prison ? How would they feel if this person was an actual part of their lives?
I predict these numbers will fall even more as time goes on. We are not even close to the election, yet, and so many things can happen before then. Polls are but snapshots in time but they do tell us some things and in this case with the Emerson poll what it’s telling us is that people are not happy with Donald Trump — not at all.
