Why are people in Tennessee receiving ugly calls about the Tennessee Three? These types of calls are known as “robocalls.” They’re of a particularly vicious nature. Robocalls are Pre-recorded messages that often lie. Actually, scratch the often. They ALWAYS lie.

This particular robocall is landing on the answering machines of many Tennesseans and they seek to besmirch the names of the Tennessee three. The audio warns that all three — Justin Pearson, Gloria Johnson, and Justin Jones are members of Antifa. They are radical activists, these disgusting calls warn. They’re “posing” as elected officials.

They led angry mobs through the Tennessee Capitol. Pipe bombs were found on them. Of course, none of this is true. It’s pure fiction. That is part of the insidious nature of the robocall. But whoever is responsible? WHO could it be?

Republicans, of course. These calls were funded by a Republican organization. This group calls themselves Enlighten Tennessee. Gloria Johnson decried the vulgar calls and also hinted at legal action. She already has her attorney on the phone, she says.

I think all three should sue. These robocalls have been around forever. When John McCain ran against George W Bush, many in South Carolina received horrible robocalls saying masses of untruths about McCain.

The only thing these people understand is money and power. So I say — go ahead and make their day. Sue the heck out of them. In the meantime, if you know anyone in Tennessee, warn them about these insidious calls and who is behind them.
