Donald Trump recently announced on social media that he was giving himself a trophy, because he’s just that far gone. But whoever on Trump’s team pulled the plug on his campaign rallies is probably the one who should be getting a trophy right now, because Trump snuck back out there for an impromptu “press conference” on Monday and fell flat on his face.

For instance, in this moment Trump had to pause when he realized he had no idea who the Governor of New York is, and then tried to cover it up:

This moment on its own might not be a story. But during his speech, Trump also got completely confused about Super Tuesday, and Tuesdays in general. He announced that “You can’t have an election in the middle of a political season,” a reminder that he has no idea what he’s even trying to say anymore. Trump is just that far gone.
