In the past two days we’ve already seen Rudy Giuliani go on CNN and directly confess to his role in the Trump-Ukraine scandal – “I did it and I’m proud of it” – before claiming seconds later that he hadn’t confessed. We’ve already seen Rudy go on Twitter and essentially confess that Donald Trump called the president of Ukraine and asked him to promote a fake Joe Biden scandal. Is it possible that Rudy could top himself? He may have done just that.

Rudy Giuliani started the day today by mirroring Donald Trump’s whiny narrative about the media refusing to give any credence to the fake Biden Ukraine scandal. It must be a heck of a feeling when you commit treason just to try to rig the 2020 election in your favor, and not only does your gambit fail, it ensures that you’re going to prison forever. But as the day went on, Rudy began convincing himself that he hasn’t actually thrown his life away, and that this might somehow turn around for him.

Rudy posted this false, insane, and incoherent tweet tonight: “Biden is convicting himself. He admits he “strong armed” Ukraine Pres. to dismiss Prosecutor Shokin who was investigating son and son’s company. ITS HILARIOUS Biden wants an investigation of anonymous allegation Trump pressured Ukraine Pres-elect.” Seven minutes later he posted the same tweet again, this time inexplicably tacking the word “Biden” onto the end of it, after the period.

What’s fascinating here is that Rudy Giuliani is trying to convince himself that not only is the fake Joe Biden scandal real, Joe Biden is somehow going to be convicted over this fake scandal. Rudy knows he’s going to prison for the rest of his life. He knows he’s thrown it all away. Now he’s trying to project that onto the person he committed the crime against. Nice try.
