Donald Trump’s Tulsa rally is taking place in a state that he’s already all but guaranteed to win, so there are no electoral votes in play. He’s receiving widespread negative headlines for the rally, which seem to be contributing to his sinking poll numbers. And no matter how many of Trump’s existing fans attend the rally, none of them can vote twice, so there’s no electoral point to the event. So why is Trump really holding it?

Trump’s own advisers are now admitting the real reason to CNN, and it’s along the lines of what we’ve suspected. It turns out Donald Trump really is in a “funk” as everything goes wrong for him, and his handlers have put together the rally in an attempt at putting him in a “better mood.”

Obviously this furthers the notion that Donald Trump really is the kind of malignant narcissist whose only joy comes from being cheered on by idiots, and that he really is depraved enough to get some of his own fans killed during a pandemic just so he can cheer himself up in the process.

This helps to further confirm that very little if anything being done by Donald Trump or his campaign right now has anything to do with trying to win. Instead Trump’s diaper-changers are merely trying to figure out how to get him out of his “funk” in the hope that he’ll start caring again. They have to do that before they can even think about a strategy for winning. That’s right, the sitting President of the United States is so far gone, he doesn’t even seem to care what’s happening to him anymore. He needs to resign. Now.
