The real reason Dr. Harold Bornstein is finally ratting out Donald Trump now

When Donald Trump sucks people in and convinces them to do his unethical bidding, he always ends up screwing them over in order protect himself when it all hits the fan. Of course this often prompts them to screw him over in response. That brings us to the case of Dr. Harold Bornstein, Trump’s longtime personal physician who glowingly lied about Trump’s health during the election. Bornstein is now firing back at Trump with some ugly revelations. The question is, why now?

Dr. Bornstein has revealed to NBC News that just after Donald Trump took office, he sent a team of goons led by Trump’s personal bodyguard Keith Schiller to raid his office and seize Trump’s medical records. Trump could easily have obtained copies of these records via HIPAA procedures. The heavy handed approach gives away that Trump wanted to forcibly get the records out of Bornstein’s hands entirely, and that there are clearly some embarrassing things in those medical records. But this happened fifteen months ago, and Bornstein is just now ratting Trump out for it.

Bornstein hasn’t given a specific reason for why he’s coming forward now. However, two ongoing Trump scandals are playing out as we speak that could logically be tied to the Bornstein mess. The first is the scandal which saw Trump convince White House Doctor Ronny Jackson lie about Trump’s health, only for it to blow up in Jackson’s face over the past two weeks. It’s possible Bornstein became outraged when he saw Trump use and discard yet another doctor. There’s also another possibility.

We’ve seen that Donald Trump has used his “attorney” Michael Cohen to silence people, in some instances through payoffs, and in other instances through unethical intimidation tactics. There is no known evidence connecting Cohen to Dr. Bornstein. But with Cohen’s entire shady history now being exposed by the day, is Bornstein coming forward now in order to head off something that’s going to tie him to Cohen? We’ll see.
