Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell keep insisting that President Obama didn’t leave them a roadmap for how to deal with a pandemic. This claim would be absurd even if it were true, considering Trump had been in charge for three years by the time the coronavirus pandemic began, and he had plenty of time to get his act together. The claim also happens to be very much not true.

Ronald Klain led the Obama administration’s Ebola response, so he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to this particular subject. Tonight he posted the cover and table of contents from the “pandemic playbook” that the Obama administration gave the Trump regime:
