President Biden is doing far more for the environment than you think

Among the main concerns that Biden supporters and left-leaning detractors tend to share are environmental concerns, with the latter group regularly accusing the Biden administration of not reaching far enough when it comes to environmental policy, something that is often difficult to accomplish in politics, as only the more informed voters really understand the implications of environmental policy, while those in the middle are largely skeptical, and conservative voters are often able to completely lie about it and distort it without much pushback.

President Biden already managed to enact parts of the Green New Deal via executive order early on in his term, but now the administration has its sights set on a much loftier goal beyond just curbing emissions.

Europe is well known for its innovations in clean energy, drastically cutting their reliance on coal over the last two decades. It turns out that the U.S. is actually on track to surpass them in scope, with provisions that were laid out in the Inflation Reduction Act.

The IRA has largely been regarded as a slimmed down version of greater legislation, but the significance this legislation will have when cutting down climate change has largely been downplayed by the media. Its provisions include a $3 per kilogram subsidy for green hydrogen, with billions of dollars for loans and other incentives to build clean energy plants in the US – meaning that the US will soon be a hub for crucial clean energy jobs – something that will already be a crucial strength for us to run on by 2024.
