Donald Trump just did a whole thing on the White House lawn about how he’s not worried about Michael Cohen’s new guilty plea, even though it reveals that Cohen and Trump were plotting to build Trump Tower Moscow during the 2016 general election. But now Trump just made a move which reveals that he is very much hitting the panic button about all things Russia.

Trump just posted this tweet: “Based on the fact that the ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from Russia, I have decided it would be best for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin. I look forward to a meaningful Summit again as soon as this situation is resolved!” Make no mistake, this is absolutely about Michael Cohen’s new revelation. So now what?

We all know that Vladimir Putin is calling the shots on these things, and that Donald Trump would never defy Putin by “canceling” a meeting between them unless Putin authorized it. This tells us, in short, that even Putin now thinks Trump is in trouble, and that Putin doesn’t want the headache – for himself and for Trump – of having to jointly answer questions about this Trump Tower Moscow plot.

Donald Trump is using Russia’s recent military aggression against Ukraine as an excuse for canceling his Putin meeting. But if that were the reason, why wouldn’t he have canceled it five days ago when the Russia-Ukraine incident took place? Nice try. This is all about Trump Tower Moscow, and the fact that Trump’s presidency is unraveling by the hour.
