Palmer Report and Hurricane Hilary

Hello Palmer Report readers,

Many of you have asked if I’m in the path of Hurricane Hilary, and expressed concern for my well being. The storm is expected to hit us indirectly here in the Los Angeles area, but it’s not expected to be as severe here as in some other surrounding areas. Experts are saying that the most likely impact in my neighborhood is flooding and potential power outages.

To that end I have enough portable power on hand to continue publishing Palmer Report even if the electricity goes out for days. The only way I’ll have to stop publishing is if home internet and cellular internet both go down.

While we should be okay here in Los Angeles, there are other parts of Southern California (and the western tip of Mexico) that are expected to get hit much harder. If you have loved ones in those locations, you might want to check in on them to see if there’s anything they need. And if you live in an affected area, be sure to abide by whatever the weather experts are telling you.

Everyone stay safe out there. We’re all in this together.

Much thanks,
Bill Palmer
