Orange is the new Trump
It’s happening. Life has become nothing more than a battle for survival for Donald Trump. It seems that everything’s breaking at the same time. The dam has been released. The water is flooding everywhere. Civil litigation. Criminal charges. Donald Trump’s life is careening toward a cell.
As you know, New York AG Letitia James has filed a $250M lawsuit against Trump for fraud. Now here’s the thing. James has her ducks in a row. I am not an attorney but have known many. And I know that fraud is one of the hardest charges to prove.
So a fraud lawsuit is not usually brought unless the ones bringing it have the goods. In this case, it appears they do. And the amount of damage Trump has done is staggering. If you listened to James as she listed Trump’s sins, one after the other, then you know, perhaps even more than before, the scope of his destruction.
Donald Trump, for ALL his life, has lived within his own private Idaho, scorning the rule of law and thumbing his nose at lady Justice. But now it’s caught up with him. How could it not? The man is also universally hated and the ones bringing him down are deadly serious.
Orange will soon be Trump’s new normal (even more than it already is.) And here is something else. Notice how all these allegations are converging at the same time. When the dam bursts — it ruptures. Just as Palmer Report has said it would be, it’s now one problem after the other for Trump.
Yes, it’s been a long wait. And patience has been required. But at last, it seems Justice has done more than take a bite out of the Donald. She’s sunk her teeth in but good, and I do not think he will be able to get out of the mess he has caused.
I hope so much as you undoubtedly do that we all get to see Donald Trump in his new normal — an orange jumpsuit. Whatever happens, it is clear that Donald Trump’s life will never again be the same.
