Nikki Haley totally jumps the shark
Nikki Haley destroyed her once-promising political career when she took a job in the Donald Trump administration, which she ended up resigning amid controversy. Now that her career is basically over, she’s still periodically trying to prop Trump up, in the faint hope that Trump might put her on the 2020 ticket in Mike Pence’s place.
Even though it’s getting close to being too late for Trump to make a ballot switch, Nikki Haley is still openly begging him to bail out her career. Unfortunately for her, it’s just getting sad at this point. She posted this utterly humiliating tweet today, calling Trump “selfless” for whatever this nonsense was:

This merely prompted Nikki Haley’s name to start trending on Twitter, along with the word “selfless,” as everyone made fun of her desperate idiocy. Her tweet ended up getting more negative comments than likes, making clear just how much of a failure her tweet was. Of course she was only tweeting it for an audience of one: Donald Trump. Then again, we’re still not convinced he can read.
