The election is coming up very quickly. I do not speak of the Presidential election. I am referring to the race for the seat to replace George Santos. And I’m asking every reader to do something to get our guy across the finish line. We can win this seat. This is because our candidate is a gem — and Republicans are struggling in this race.

Politico reports that Democratic spending is far outpacing Republicans. Democratic ads are lighting up TV screens. Much money is being spent — by Democrats. Republicans, however, have not put nearly as much money into TV ads as Democrats have.

The election is February 13th. And there is much disparity between money being spent. Democrats are fighting furiously for the seat. Republicans are, however, knocking on doors. They want to win as much as we do.

But as of the time of this writing, we are outpacing them. This is in part due to activism. Each campaign needs activism to survive. Think of it like the words to a song. The song’s words, while beautiful, do not make their way to the public without a person to sing them; likewise, political campaigns need activists to get the message out.

So far, our message is strong, but we can take nothing for granted. So please do what you can in these dwindling weeks. Tell everyone you know to vote. If you can afford it, donate. Even five dollars helps keep these ads on TV.

Retweet Democrat Tom Suozzi. If you live in his district, offer to drive people to the polls or door knock, put up signs, or do everything possible. We can win this one, people!
