Yesterday we brought you the story of how Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy decided to refer to the coronavirus as the “Chinese coronavirus” in a rather obvious attempt at scapegoating Chinese-Americans for the virus. Now Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is telling off McCarthy for his racism:

Sadly, instead of deleting his offensive tweet, Kevin McCarthy has since doubled down on his racism, tweeting “Here we go again. Democrats are trying to score political points by calling Republicans racist.” McCarthy should resign.
