Nancy Pelosi comes out swinging
The Democratic party has already accomplished so much. And there is still quite a bit of work to be done.
We work best when we’re a team — united in our desire for a better, more prosperous America.
All teams need a leader. Teams have to have glue. They need strong glue, the type that binds them and can hold them together, preventing any tearing.And for the Democrats, that leader is Madam Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi is a fantastic leader. She’s who we need. The woman is a pillar of strength, and her soft-spoken dignity and grace have saved us on more than one occasion.
And now Warrior Pelosi has announced she is running for reelection. And we should all be pleased about this!
Here is what she said: “I am running for reelection to Congress and respectfully seek your support. I would be greatly honored by it and grateful for it.”
She has my support. And I’ve no doubt she has almost everybody’s support. Pelosi has never wavered. She handles the job with timeless grace and gentle wisdom. She is fundraising magic and has somehow managed to keep our party united through even the darkest of times.
Thank you, Speaker Pelosi. I do not doubt that you will only continue to achieve great things and take our party to even better places.
