Matt Gaetz has always been a liar. That much we knew. And now we know something else. We understand WHY the hair-challenged Floridan stuck it so hard to Kevin McCarthy, Gaetz has loose lips — he’s been boasting, talking to other Congress members about the whole thing. Matt Gaetz wanted — revenge.

It was all about the ethics investigation into his sordid behavior. It seems to have shaken Gaetz up. And he was bitter, blaming McCarthy for all of it. Oh, the joy when Republicans eat their own. It was payback.

Gaetz had one goal in mind — destroying Kevin’s career. He lulled others into his web, whispering of Kevin’s incompetence, telling them what an awful speaker McCarthy was. So, he was joined in his quest for Kevin’s humiliation. It was referred to as Matt’s “vanity project.”

Interesting. A few thoughts here. First off, many people hate Gaetz. There have been, as you know, whispers that Republicans in congress are coming for him. They despise him, and who knows what they might have cooked up for him? It’s probably not pretty.

Now, they don’t like Gaetz for many reasons. One of them might be that Gaetz is guilty of intentional affliction of emotional distress. I’m not talking about his hair, although, of course, there’s that.

But Gaetz has been a disruptor, and if there’s one thing Republicans hate, it’s people who don’t fall in line. So, who knows what’s next for the high-haired Matt? I have a feeling, though, that this story — the story of Gate, backstabbing, and disorder in the House is nowhere close to being finished.
