Mitch McConnell left squirming

Everybody wants to know his reaction. What did he have to say about Donald Trump being indicted federally on espionage charges? No comment. These words or lack thereof come from turtle McConnell, also known as Moscow Mitch.

In the wake of so many Republicans, rushing to take sides, Mitch has remained conspicuously silent. And that is apparently going to continue. No matter how many reporters shout questions at him the turtle is being tightlipped. No comment.

Of course, we know the truth. The turtle despises Donald Trump. I’d venture to guess McConnell hates him more than almost any Republican in office today. So you just know that inside, Mitch is doing cartwheels. He is ecstatic. He is likely hoping Jack Smith takes care of Trump and that Trump become someone else’s problem not his.

I must admit to being tickled pink, watching McConnell try to hold in his loathing as he takes questions from the press about Trump. So while everybody else makes comments, don’t expect to hear from Mitch anytime soon. But we know the truth.

Of course we know that when Mitch goes home at night and kicks back and throws off his shoes, The Grim Reaper as people are known to call McConnell, allows a rather twisted smile to cross his face.
