Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows now has coronavirus

When Donald Trump traveled to and from the hospital with coronavirus weeks ago, his White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows traveled with him. It seemed like an odd decision by Meadows, who was putting himself at great risk for no reason. It seemed even odder that Meadows never caught it.

Now CNN’s Jim Acosta is reporting tonight that Mark Meadows does in fact have coronavirus. It’s not immediately clear if Meadows has caught it through channels that had nothing to do with Trump, or if this means that the coronavirus is still spreading around the White House.

Either way, this is the last thing that Donald Trump needs right now. He’s trying to convince the American public that he’s somehow secretly the winner of an election that he’s lost by millions of votes, and now suddenly the public is being reminded of just how deranged Trump was in his handling of the overall pandemic and in his handling of his own coronavirus.
