You know what, readers? I am so bloody sick of stupid people saying hateful things and then trying to pass off their own words with the lame excuses of “I was only kidding,” It was a joke,” or “It was sarcasm.” It’s infuriating.

This is because we know that people who do this are NOT kidding, it’s NOT a joke, and they’re not being sarcastic. Words hurt—words damage. And sometimes words kill. And if one’s actions match their words of hate and insanity — then they can be called amoral.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is an insurrectionist. Her words, her actions — all scream that out. On Saturday, Greene said that the TERRORIST ATTACK at the Capitol on January 6 would have been successful if she and Steve Bannon had planned it and they would have been armed.

These words were spoken at a gala for the New York Young Republicans club. “And I will tell you something, if Steve Bannon and I had organized that, we would have won,” she declared. “Not to mention, it would’ve been armed.”

Greene is a bane on our existence. I certainly feel she should not be a Congressperson. Sadly — no — tragically — the GOP will likely not denounce this. Why would they? Greene has trump’s approval, and that is really the only thing the GOP cares about.

Greene is like a toxic Belladonna plant, sprouting up, slathered from its roots in poison, all parts toxic.

I do think, however, that by shining a light on this woman’s toxicity and tying it to the GOP, we can show the American people who the GOP is, whose words matter to them, and what type of behavior they prize. And that behavior is completely amoral in every way, shape, and form.
