Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg tells House Republicans to go pound sand

“If stupid could fly, republicans would be huge jets.” Honestly! I cannot believe some of these nitwits went to ivy league schools. The GOP keeps doing one stupid thing after another, over and over again, and never learning any lessons from their own stupidity. Yes, it’s the republican Jet of stupid. This is one plane you DO NOT want to be on.

So as Palmer Report has told you, some members of the House GOP (stupidly) sent a letter to New York DA Alvin Bragg demanding he testify and give them all the juicy details about Donald Trump’s arrest. That was never going to happen, but you can blame the GOP’s pal stupid for them ever writing such a letter in the first place.

And Bragg has just responded to their insane letter — with the type of scathing take-down one might expect from a DA answering a letter from maniacs. Bragg said the GOP’s request was unprecedented and only came after Donald trump snookered them into believing he’d be arrested on Tuesday.

The letter went on to say that congress “is not the appropriate branch” to “review a pending criminal case.” Bragg also said in the letter that his office will “publicly state the conclusion of our investigation — whether we conduct our work without bringing charges or move forward with an indictment.”

Bragg’s letter also accused house republicans of intervening only because Donald Trump’s lawyers told them to. In other words — the stupid was completely smacked down by the NY DA’s office — for now. I say for now because YOU KNOW STUPID.

It does not usually give up. Stupid exists to become stupider. So it stands to reason republicans, rather than letting this go, will say or do something extremely stupid, even more stupid than they have so far.

That is because, as I stated early in this article, the expression “If stupid could fly, the republicans would be jets” is perfectly true in this case and can easily be applied to stupid republicans. The stupidest of the stupid, the crown jewel of stupidity, who continue to engage in behavior that is — well — very, very stupid.
