Looks like Trump really did tank the midterms for the Republicans

No one was surprised by the news HuffPost recently released. Trump has always been able to con his followers into donating to him, and the joke has always been on them. As HuffPost revealed, Trump has been hoarding much of those donations for himself. Gee, what a surprise.

Trump allegedly had funds to help Republican candidates, and we know he used very little, if any, for that endeavor. Instead, he moved millions from that PAC to his “Make America Great Again Inc. super PAC” to the tune of $60 million. He collected an additional $9 million from another PAC and $4 million from new contributors, and of the $73 million total, only $15 million went toward Republicans running for office. HuffPost also revealed that he did not spend one penny on Herschel Walker’s runoff campaign. Trump was then free to remove the remainder from the PAC for his own soon-to-be-failed campaign. Why these people continue to donate to Trump is puzzling. They should know by now that Trump’s number one concern is Donald Trump. He continues to reveal his narcissism, yet they keep donating. As they say on social media, SMH.

Rory Cooper, former top aide to Eric Cantor, is quoted by HuffPost: “He steals fundraising, picks lousy candidates, and is an anchor in competitive races, so no one would wonder how much longer the party tolerates this loser nonsense.” No one could have said this any better. Trump is a loser; that has been clear for some time, yet some continue to support him. Why? Are they also losers and see a kindred spirit in him? Is their love for hate so great that they ignore everything else? One would think that after all the news about Trump duping his donors, they would get it, but they choose to remain ignorant. Regardless of what these people think, Donald Trump brought nothing positive to the presidency. He set race relations back 50 years, he spewed hate and intolerance, and he is a crook. Perhaps that’s what some people revered, but most do not.

It is vitally important that we keep this man far away from the White House. Of course, given his approval rating, we might not have to work that hard to keep that from happening. Psychologists and psychiatrists are probably salivating, wishing they could get their hands on these people for case studies. Having people speak for this disaster of a man doesn’t help. HuffPost reached out to Taylor Budowich, who is a former spokesman for Save America and now serves as the head of MAGA Inc., and he refused to respond. They quoted him from Politico: “President Trump is committed to saving America and Make America Great Again Inc. will ensure that is achieved at the ballot box in November and beyond.” Please. The only thing or person Trump hopes to “save” is himself. America certainly doesn’t need any additional turmoil after his last disastrous stint in office. The rest of these fools can continue to support Trump with their time and money; the rest of us want to see America become truly great, which does not include Donald Trump.
