House Democrat Ted Lieu then piled on by tweeting this response to Kevin McCarthy: “1. All Dems voted no on YOUR Rules change to allow 1 Member to bring a motion to fire you. 2. Dems voted consistent with our belief that Rep Jeffries is best Speaker. 3. Your inability to understand what happened is why you are no longer Speaker.”
