Kevin McCarthy just admitted that he thinks Donald Trump is going to prison

Kevin McCarthy is one of those dishonest dummies who tries to lie his way through things, but often stupidly blurts out the truth instead. Remember several years ago when he cost himself the speakership by publicly bragging that Republicans were using Benghazi to try to hurt Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers? He’s that kind of dummy.

McCarthy was at it again today, trying to push the notion that it’s unfair that the DOJ is criminally prosecuting Donald Trump. In the process, McCarthy whined that Trump “is gonna be given jail time.” Wait a minute. Oops.

Even though Kevin McCarthy is trying to argue that it’s unfair that Donald Trump is going to prison, he’s still admitting that he expects Donald Trump is going to prison. That’s not a smart thing to admit about a guy you’re still trying to prop up as a supposed presidential candidate in a future election.

Keep in mind that every time Republicans put the words “Donald Trump” and “prison” in the same sentence, they’re just helping to drive home the point that Trump is not on track to even be available for the 2024 election. For all of McCarthy’s ham handed efforts at defending Trump, all he’s doing is hurting Trump’s viability.
