What do you think of when you hear the name “Matt Gaetz?” I think of sleaze, creepiness, and an endless supply of hairspray. But now, I’m also thinking of the words “Oh shit.” A court motion has been quietly filed on behalf of one Joel Greenberg — the Gaetz wingman and cooperating witness.

Greenberg’s attorney, Fritz Scheller, has sought permission from the court to “submit additional information” as it relates to Gaetz and “multiple other criminal probes.” And he wants to file this information under seal.

“If this Court sets a hearing on the motion, the proceeding will convey specific information to the Court concerning Mr. Greenberg’s cooperation against multiple individuals.”

Uh-oh. Other prosecutions? Other jurisdictions? WHAT is going on It appears that Gaetz is screwed — from my perspective. The words “ongoing prosecutions” do not bode well for the hysterical, high-haired Floridian. Tick-tock.

Look — we all see how long the Gaetz investigation is taking. But that is normal in cases such as this. And judging by the filing, it would APPEAR that more than one person is being looked at. I would rather slow and steady rather than botched and rushed.

The investigation into Gaetz — contrary to his hysterical whining, did not slow down or stop. On the contrary, it’s as alive as it could be and gaining ground.

Is it time for Gaetz to panic?? I’d say so. His moon appears to be disappearing, and an eclipse is rolling in. Slow and steady prosecutions are the best kind. We can’t forget the people who were let free because of a LACK of slow and steady — Bill Cosby, for one.

I am sure people will be watching with interest the upcoming bombshells. Perhaps Gaetz should get off Twitter and look at his actions with more serious eyes. But this IS Matt Gaetz we’re talking about. So that just might be asking for the impossible.
