After the media filed in court to have the names of George Santos’ bail money benefactors unsealed, Santos responded with a ludicrous grandstanding filing yesterday. Accordingly, the judge promptly ruled against Santos today, and ordered that the names be unsealed.

Santos can still appeal and drag this out a bit longer. But those appeals would be finite in nature, and he’d obviously lose them. One way or the other we’re likely going to find out the names of the people who paid Santos’ bail fairly soon.

In his asinine filing yesterday, Santos explicitly stated that he’d rather sit in jail while awaiting his trial than give up the names. We have a funny feeling that as Santos continues with his antics, he’ll end up getting his bail revoked one way or the other. Even if he doesn’t, his trial will result in his conviction and send him to prison.
