James Comer just stepped in it
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of watching cartoons, you know that SOMETIMES — only sometimes — life can mimic these hilarious and fun cartoons. And in a way, that’s happening right now. It is happening with James Comer and Hunter Biden.
Watching Comer’s feverish attempts to outwit the Hunter Biden team, watching Comer plot and scheme and make a fool of himself regularly on Fox non-news, all I can think about is that Mr. Comer is most definitely Wile E. Coyote to Hunter Biden’s the Road Runner.
Now, I do apologize to the Coyote, who, as futile as his attempts at capturing the Road Runner were, did have plenty more brains than the bumbling and idiotic person that is James Comer.
Comer cannot seem to do ANYTHING involving Hunter Biden without screwing it up. It is really rather amazing to watch. Comer wants — and needs — to find something on Hunter! And time after time, day after day, Hunter Biden proceeds in making a fool out of Comer.
So now Comer is threatening to hit Hunter Biden with contempt if he does not show up for his deposition next week. Now, bear in mind Hunter offered to do just that — and was turned down by Comer.
Hunter wants to appear in the public eye. The possibility of the American people actually SEEING what happens appears to be too much for little Comer, who appears only to want to talk to Hunter in secret.
Comer and Gym Jordan wrote to Hunter’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, saying that Hunter was “compelled” to appear secretly for a deposition.
Now, look at the irony here. Gym Jordan signed onto this letter. Gym was one of the Republicans who ignored a January 6 subpoena! Rules for thee but not for me are the mantra here.
But that’s not all. Comer claims that he has proof of The Biden corruption in what could only be described as an utterly bizarre move. That proof? Hunter Biden once repaid a loan his dad gave him to buy a truck.
Here is what Comer said about this on Newsmax: “You can loan people money. If they pay you back, you benefit directly from the influence peddling.” It is amazing, dear readers, that we have such a buffoon as a member of the House. Comer really might be the stupidest person walking the planet.
Comer also proceeded to brag that HE does not require repayment if he loans any of his kid’s some money. I am not a bit worried about Hunter Biden. In the spirit of the Road Runner, he will continue to run circles around Comer, beat him at his own game, and gracefully step aside as Comer tumbles head-first into his own pot of bullshit.
