Jake Tapper just dropped the hammer on Donald Trump

The more Donald Trump’s lies and crimes are exposed, the more he decides that everyone who’s not impressed with him is lying or committing crimes. Trump decided that today would be a good day to attack CNN host Jake Tapper for some reason, and let’s just say that Tapper got the better of him.

Donald Trump tweeted this today in reference to Tapper: “They, and the Lamestream Media (including Jake), have spent 3 1/2 years illegally smearing me.” It’s not clear why Trump has now decided that reporting the ugly truth is “illegal” but there you have it. Tapper fired back with this:

A better focus for you, Mr. President:

* at least 1,482,916 cases of coronavirus in the US;

* at least 89,318 dead in the US from coronavirus;

* tens of of millions unemployed and even more suffering.

Insult me all you want; please focus on helping the American people, sir.

Yeah, we’re awarding this one to Jake Tapper. Donald Trump’s attacks on the media somehow manage to keep getting more deranged, more severe, and more toothless all at the same time.
