Jack Smith’s deadline has arrived and everyone is flipping on Donald Trump while they still can

Back when it was reported earlier this month that two “fake electors” had testified to Jack Smith’s DOJ grand jury, it was also reported that they’d been given a June 30th deadline for either taking the deal and testifying or getting indicted. I recall flagging June 30th as an important date, because if that was Smith’s deadline for the fake electors to cut deals or get indicted, it was quite possibly the deadline that Smith had given everyone. Sure enough, it’s starting to look like it.

A few days ago InfoWars host Owen Shroyer – who was indicted for January 6th awhile back and had been fighting the charges – suddenly cut a cooperating plea deal. And now the New York Times is reporting that Rudy Giuliani did a proffer interview with Jack Smith’s team last week, which is typically the first step in cutting a cooperating plea deal.

So in the past week alone we’ve had two fake electors get immunity, Alex Jones’ sidekick flip on everyone, and Rudy Giuliani take a major formal step in the direction of flipping – and those are just the people we know about. Cooperation deals are often kept secret until after the fact for strategic reasons. So if we know of three or four people having recently flipped, how many more people have recently flipped behind the scenes?

The point is that it’s all coming to a head. Deadlines have a way of doing that. It appears Jack Smith recently reached the end of his January 6th probe, and has informed every criminal target not named “Donald Trump” that they had until June 30th to decide whether to cut a deal or get indicted.

It’s worth pointing out that June 30th is tomorrow. This doesn’t mean that the indictments will start dropping at 12:01am on July 1st. There would still be the procedural formality of prosecutors having the grand jury actually bring the indictments, and so on. But it would be not at all surprising to see Jack Smith bring January 6th related indictments as soon as perhaps next week. The fact that so many people are hurrying up and trying to flip tells you what’s coming, and that it’s coming soon.
