We went into today expecting Jack Smith to criminally indict Donald Trump on charges relating to January 6th. That didn’t happen, but now it turns out Smith has brought additional criminal charges against Trump today – in Florida.

Jack Smith has brought a superseding criminal indictment against Donald Trump today, centered around the charge of willful retention of classified material. This news is breaking, just moments after the news that the Mar-a-Lago “pool boy” has also been added as a defendant in the case.
