Ivanka Trump caught playing dumb during testimony about Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg
Even before Allen Weisselberg found his way into the headlines this week with the revelation that the New York Attorney General is criminally investigating his finances, most of you reading this already knew that Weisselberg is the CFO of the Trump Organization.
That apparently makes most of you more knowledgeable than Ivanka Trump, who claimed under oath that she somehow wasn’t sure what role Allen Weisselberg played at the Trump Organization. Melania Trump’s former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff highlighted this bizarre testimony from Ivanka:

To be clear, Ivanka Trump is claiming in this deposition that she doesn’t know what Allen Weisselberg does at the Trump Organization, even though he’s the highest ranking and longest tenured official at the Trump Organization not named “Trump.” This would be roughly as absurd as President Biden claiming not to know what role Janet Yellen holds within his administration.
This just goes to show how eagerly the Trump family will throw Weisselberg under the bus the minute he’s criminally indicted in New York. Weisselberg might as well just go ahead and cut a plea deal against the Trump family now, before Ivanka can claim she’s never heard of him and Donald can claim he’s just the coffee boy.
