If this weren’t so sad it would be hilarious

If they weren’t messing with our lives, Republicans would be hilarious. There are so many places to start when discussing the stupidity of Republicans, but one stands above the rest: Marjorie Taylor Greene. First, while giving a speech during the Republican debate of whether to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, she said that impeachment is to be used for “in-dick-table” crimes. Some called that a “Freudian slip” because of her seeming obsession with Hunter Biden’s “dick pics.” She has shown the photos at least twice on the Congress floor, so there may be something to that. Her latest faux pas involved Judge Arthur Engoron, who rendered judgment on Trump’s fraud case.

Does Greene want Engoron tarred and feathered? Perhaps burned at the stake? Of course not. She wants him “disrobed.” She seems to have a fascination with nudity. Perhaps she has a fascination with stupidity because she sure is full of that. She posted it on X and users had a proverbial field day. One user wrote: “#Blockheaded: Would someone tell Marjorie Taylor Greene it’s DISBARRED, not DISROBED. This is what happens when you get your degree from Trump University.” Honestly, she must be incredibly ignorant, as she has also referred to the Gestapo as “gazpacho” and “port of entry” as “porch of entry.” People keep saying that Georgians should be ashamed to have elected her to office. Trust and believe-we are, especially those of us who don’t live in her district. She’s not the only idiot in Congress, though. Second place goes to the “two Jims,” James Comer and Jim Jordan with their continued impeachment efforts with no evidence (though they can pronounce words, so there’s that).

CNN reporter Manu Raju asked for Jordan’s take on the indictment of their “star” witness. Jordan argued that it “doesn’t change the four fundamental facts,” which Farron Cousins pointed out as: Hunter Biden was paid $1 million per year; Hunter Biden wasn’t qualified; the company asked if his father could help, which Hunter ignored; and then Vice President Biden withheld aid for Ukraine. Talk about grasping for straws. The fact is that their witness is a liar. Perhaps it is the fact that Jim Jordan is an idiot. He’s trying his best to put a “brave face” on his idiocy. They had nothing but rumors and innuendo to even go after President Biden in the first place. Now, they’re finding there’s no validity to anything they believed. It’s as if everything they touch turns to a Saturday Night Live skit.

Republicans had no business trying to impeach President Biden. They were sent to Washington to legislate, not harass people. They should be looking at what initiatives they can come up with that help the American people. Of course, Jordan has been in Congress for 16 years and has never passed a bill, so you can’t expect a whole lot from him. Republicans need to be on their way out come 2024. There may be some who want to seriously do the jobs they were elected to do, and it’s okay for them to stay. The rest, however, must go.
