House Republican just stepped in it
Truthfulness in politics can sometimes be difficult to find, especially with the GOP. Time and time again, Republicans have shown the truth is not their friend. However, much like plotting a nautical course on an upcoming voyage, you will find your way there if you keep at it long enough.
We found our way there. We found our truth destination this week. This was the week all was revealed as to the truthfulness of the GOP. How? Well we all KNOW that Republicans do not give a DAMN about immigration. It’s their weapon of choice, but they couldn’t care less about it. One particular Republican even TOLD us this.
The truth, in a VERY rare moment, came out of — Texas. Texas House republican Troy Nehls. Nehls has announced he will not support any attempts to fix the border. Why? He actually SAID the following: “Let me tell you, I’m not willing to do too damn much right now to help a Democrat and to help Joe Biden’s approval rating.”
Ahoy mates! We have arrived at — the truth! This was a VERY stupid move on Nehls’ part. Ah, my imagination can see the commercials playing themselves out already On Twitter, the mood was festive as people basically celebrated the unwrapping of the best gift Republicans could have given us — the truth:
“What a LOSER.”
“That tracks with the GOP’s whole governing M.O.”
“This kind of dumbness can’t be taught.”
Wow. This is surely NOT good for the GOP. I imagine some VERY crestfallen Republicans are currently stewing in their dishonest juices.
But the fact is — all was revealed. Of course, we KNEW all of this anyway. But now, the Genie is out of the bottle, the words are in the ether, and republican liars have been seen for the idiotic people they are.
