Here comes Donald Trump’s disastrous press conference for the ages
Donald Trump gave up on this week’s news cycle when he headed to his New Jersey golf resort for a three day weekend. But now Trump has suddenly decided to hold a press conference at his gold resort this evening, and let’s just say that it’s unlikely to go well for him.
Trump announced the press briefing with this racist tweet: “I will be doing a news conference on the ChinaVirus, the just announced very good economic numbers, and the improving economy, at 7pm from Bedminster, New Jersey. Also, the subject of the Beirut, Lebanon catastrophe will be discussed.”
In addition to Trump’s “ChinaVirus” racial slur, the economic numbers he’s referencing were actually awful. In addition, he and his handlers tanked the coronavirus relief legislation negotiations today. And of course Trump previously referred to the deadly Beirut explosion as an “attack” without presenting any evidence. So yeah, this press conference is going to be a disaster.
